2023 Bellevue Police Foundation Grants

A 2023 Safedevelop lab vent hood features a transparent front door, control panel on the left, air exhaust hose on top, and multiple shelves inside. This modern design is supported by grants from the Bellevue Police Foundation.

Each year the Bellevue Police Foundation Board of Directors votes to approve grant requests that are presented by the police department. Since 2007, the Foundation has donated over $1.4 million dollars to support the police departments’ needs that are not already covered by their budget.

In July, we voted to grant up to $87,327 to the department for a variety of important items that include forensics software, a fingerprint development chamber, the first ever Youth Camp, and SWAT equipment. These grants are in addition to almost $22,000 for the purchase of two K-9 Officers in training, Wrex and Kole.

We want to thank YOU, our donors, for making these grants possible and giving our police the tools they need to keep our community safe.
