Kevin Wallace is President of Wallace Properties, a Bellevue commercial real estate company. Kevin’s primary focus at the Company is in the development and acquisition of investment properties, and management of the existing portfolio of apartment, retail and office investment properties the Company owns. Over the last decade he has led the development and acquisition of over 1,000 apartments and 600,000 square feet of commercial space. He and the Company are currently working on several development projects in Seattle and Bellevue, with a focus on providing workforce housing near transit.
At the end of 2017, Kevin completed eight years of service on the Bellevue City Council, where he focused on transportation policy, leading the light rail negotiations on behalf of the City, the funding of a $400 million plan for road infrastructure through Bellevue’s commercial areas. As it relates to public safety, Kevin championed the successful 2016 Fire Facilities Levy by helping craft the levy and then leading the campaign efforts for its successful passage.
Civic efforts are an important priority for Kevin. His primary focus is on efforts that enable the Eastside’s business community to collaborate with government to solve the most difficult problems we face – transportation, housing and homelessness. Kevin is in leadership roles in several organizations that are focused on those goals including Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, Eastside Community Development Fund, and Congregations for the Homeless.
Prior to Wallace Properties, Kevin practiced real estate law at the Seattle firms of Foster Pepper and K&L Gates. He and his wife Natalie have three boys – Gabe, Garrett and Zachary, and a giant dog named Dexter. In what little free time is available Kevin enjoys tennis, cycling, snowboarding and CrossFit.
