Message from the Chief

I am honored to lead the Bellevue Police Department, which is a nationally accredited agency committed to providing the highest quality of law enforcement services to the people who live work and play in Bellevue, WA. Achieving that mission takes strong partnerships, and the Bellevue Police Foundation is one of our most essential allies. 

The Foundation is a cornerstone of the Bellevue Police Department’s success. Our ability to deliver innovative and effective policing is strengthened by the Foundation’s financial and moral support. 

Bellevue Police strive to deliver the highest standard of services to the public, and it’s our partnership with the Foundation that ensures we meet these obligations. Each year, the Foundation generously contributes to programs that keep this department among the most forward-thinking in this region. This includes supporting the department’s K-9 Unit, funding specialized equipment, and investing in officer wellness and training opportunities.  

 The Foundation also recognizes that police work goes beyond addressing crime. With the Foundation’s support, we’ve implemented several community engagement programs that fosters positive, long-term relationships with those we serve. From annual Heroes and Helpers or National Night Out celebrations to the department’s summer youth camp each August, the Foundation ensures officers and professional staff have the resources possible to build on the trust and connection the agency has created with this community.
