Melinda was born and raised in Seattle and spent over 45 years working in the insurance, financial planning and travel industries before she and her husband acquired Accutint Bellevue in 2010.  She is an active fundraiser and has volunteered for Overlake Hospital, Bellevue Police, and Suquamish ambulance and fire departments and strongly supports the Bellevue Police’s “Community Oriented Policing” approach. As a small business owner, Melinda has attended and donated at many Bellevue Police Foundation breakfast events and her company became a corporate partner in 2021.

In her spare time, she enjoys her family, dogs, reading, bicycling, hiking, and motorhome travel.
