Halloween Fun with the Bellevue Police

Bellevue Police officers pose with two children dressed as a police officer and Spider-Man in front of a police car, creating some Halloween fun in the parking lot.

For two days in October, the Bellevue Police Department helped transform our community into a hub of laughter and camaraderie with not one but two spectacular events that brought neighbors, officers, and families together. Our officers showcased their lighter side as they played games, organized pumpkin races, displayed static exhibits of police equipment, and handed out candy while ensuring everyone had a memorable and joyous experience.

The festivities kicked off on Saturday, October 28th at the South Bellevue Community Center, a yearly celebration with abundant activities that captivated hearts, young and old. Pumpkin races had everyone on the edge of their seats, and classic games added fun to an already vibrant event. The static displays featuring police equipment sparked curiosity and provided an avenue for open and positive conversations between our officers and community members.

On the afternoon of Halloween at Crossroads Mall, where families enjoyed a spooktacular round of trick-or-treating sponsored by Crossroads Mall, Bellevue’s finest admired the spirit and creativity of costumes worn by all ages. Officers handed out treats, shared smiles, and took endless selfies that helped turn Crossroads Mall into a haven of Halloween excitement. The unique blend of community spirit and police engagement created an atmosphere of trust and unity long after the littlest police officer collected the last piece of candy.

These events showcased the Bellevue Police Department’s commitment to fostering positive relationships and creating safe, enjoyable spaces for all. It’s heartening to witness our local heroes reaching out, breaking down barriers, and leaving a lasting impact on our community.

Bellevue Police Foundation is proud to help sponsor these community events.
