Honoring Excellence in Service

The Bellevue Police Foundation supports public recognition of the Bellevue Police Department's successes and achievements. Award recipients are nominated by Bellevue Police Department and honored at our annual fundraising breakfast each spring.

Craig Hanaumi Service Award

Annually since 2015, the Bellevue Police Foundation Board of Directors honors a Bellevue police officer who has demonstrated a pattern of professional achievement, personal commitment, strong community service and contribution to public safety.

Formerly known as the Platinum Service Award, the award was renamed the Craig Hanaumi Service Award in 2019 in recognition of the high standard of service Officer Craig Hanaumi sets every day.
