Ruby Daly is a seasoned Crime Prevention Officer and Background Investigator with six years at the Bellevue police department, where she leads community engagement efforts and conducts background investigations for department hires. Her career spans decades in law enforcement, including service as a detective and hostage negotiator with the King County Sheriff’s Department and as a Federal Air Marshal with Homeland Security.

In addition to her public service, Ruby is the founder of a private investigation company and a dedicated advocate for her community. She is a founding member of a nonprofit guild supporting Seattle Children’s Hospital and has served on the board of the Washington Association of Legal Investigators (WALI). A proud Pacific Northwest native, Ruby is the mother of two college-aged daughters. She is passionate about connecting with people, giving back to her community, and exploring the world through international travel.
