The Bellevue Police Foundation has granted $190,910 in 2025, bolstering the department with critical funds for equipment, training, and community outreach. This latest investment brings the Foundation’s total contributions to the Bellevue Police Department to an impressive $1,761,463. This funding will support critical operations and officer safety.

A significant portion, $127,000, is dedicated to essential equipment and technology upgrades for forensics, investigations, the BOMB squad, and traffic units, ensuring officers have modern tools to keep the community safe.

The K9 program will receive $24,000 for specialized training, extraordinary veterinary services, and ongoing support costs, maintaining the readiness of the department’s working dogs.

Furthermore, $10,000 is earmarked for community outreach programs, including the Youth Academy and National Night Out, fostering stronger police-community relationships. Finally, $30,000 will help support expenses for the upcoming 2026 Police Unity Tour, where Officer Jordan Jackson will be memorialized. The BPF continues its mission to support and enhance the department’s capabilities beyond the city budget.
