Staying Safe In The Line Of Duty

Due in part to a generous grant from the Ben Roethlisberger Foundation at The Giving Back Fund, K-9 Ozzy now sports a new K-9 Ballistic Vest. The Bellevue Police Foundation contributed the remaining funds for this vest.

These life saving vests help to protect K-9s against harm while they are on patrol, attempt to apprehend and subdue a suspect, and protect their handlers. The Bellevue Police Foundation has provided ballistic vests to all Bellevue Police Department K-9s to provide them with safety and protection while serving the residents of Bellevue.
