Help Support K9 Kole’s Recovery

K9 Officer Kole

Bellevue’s beloved police K9, Officer Kole, recently faced a serious health challenge. After showing signs of illness, Kole was diagnosed with a liver infection that required extensive veterinary treatment, medications, and follow-up care. Thanks to quick action by his handler and excellent veterinary support, Kole is now on the road to recovery—but the cost of his medical care has placed an unexpected strain on the Bellevue Police Foundation’s K9 Fund.

K9 Kole is a vital member of the Bellevue Police Department’s team, trained in tracking, apprehension, and officer protection. He has served our community with courage and dedication, assisting in countless calls and keeping both officers and residents safe. Now, he needs our community’s help.

The Bellevue Police Foundation is seeking donations to help cover Kole’s recent veterinary expenses of $8,900 and ensure he continues to receive the care he needs to fully recover and return to duty. Every contribution—no matter the size—directly supports Kole’s health and the continued strength of the Bellevue Police K9 Unit.

Donations can be made securely through the Bellevue Police Foundation website. Your support will help Kole heal, stay healthy, and get back to doing what he loves most—serving and protecting the people of Bellevue.

Together, we can help Kole get back on his paws.
