A Swinging Success for Public Safety

The Bellevue Police Foundation’s annual Swing for the Shield golf tournament hit it straight down the fairway! Thanks to an incredible turnout of golfers, sponsors, and supporters, the tournament raised $77,600 to support the Bellevue Police Department.

Special thanks to our title sponsor, Columbia Bank, for helping make this year’s tournament such a success. We’re also grateful for Glendale Country Club for hosting and all of our sponsors and golfers whose generosity keeps the Foundation’s work moving forward.

Some golfer highlights: Trevor Brauser from the Bellevue Collection delivered the shot of the day — and a $10,000 payday — with an amazing hole-in-one! Talk about making every swing count. The team from Sweeney Conrad came in first for the 5^th year in a row!

The tournament was a day of great golf, good fun, friendly competition, and, most importantly, community support for Bellevue’s police officers. Funds raised will help provide critical equipment, training, officer wellness programs, and community initiatives.
