Welcome New Board Members and Honor Outgoing
The Bellevue Police Foundation begins an exciting new chapter with the appointment of Tommy Wang as Board Chair and Andy Roed as Vice Chair. Together, they bring energy, strong community connections, and a shared commitment to supporting the Bellevue Police Department and strengthening public safety in our community.
Tommy Wang, a Vice President and Business Banking Relationship Manager with Columbia Bank, is already an active and engaged leader within the Foundation. Known for his collaborative approach and passion for service, Tommy is well positioned to help guide the Foundation into the future. Joining him in leadership is Andrew Roed, a wealth management professional with Baird and a dedicated supporter of the Foundation’s mission. Andy brings thoughtful leadership and a strong commitment to community engagement as he steps into the Vice Chair role.
As the Foundation welcomes its new officers, we also recognize and celebrates the tremendous contributions of longtime Board Chair Steve Hoffmann. Steve, recently retired President and CEO of GLY Construction, has played a major role in shaping the Foundation’s growth and impact over the years. Under his leadership, the Foundation expanded partnerships, funded critical public safety initiatives, and strengthened relationships between the Bellevue Police Department and the community.
More than anything, Steve led with heart and a deep commitment to supporting Bellevue Police officers and their families. His leadership and generosity leave a lasting legacy that will continue to influence the Foundation for years to come. The Board and community are deeply grateful for his years of service and look forward to building on the strong foundation he helped create.
